I’m 16, live in England, and want to be an actor. I’ve been in many stage productions such as ‘Waiting For Godot’, ‘Hamlet’, ‘Death Of A Salesman’, ‘The Tempest’ etc. in leading roles, and I recently got an audition (final round) for a small British independent movie, to do with private schools, heavy drug use, raves and boozing (something like ‘Skins’ but even darker, more of a tragedy). I would be the completely messed up kid with a broken home who is very popular in school and with girls but who goes mental on nights out, high on cocaine and LSD, getting violent in the process. I’m not completely sure of the plot, but I think he dies somewhere along the way. Quite a major role. Like I said, not kiddie stuff, but could be a cult classic if done right.

Anyway, I’m up against about 5 other guys, and I need to make a good impression when meeting the director next week- I like to think I’m endearing, so I’m going to try to crank the charm up to 11. The problem is, I don’t know what to wear when I meet the director next week. I know this is the least of my concerns, but I really want to make a good impression.
I was thinking the usual white shirt and jeans- here’s a picture below:

If you have any other suggestions for clothing, please tell me. Just make sure you know something about style. Can you also if possible flick through the pictures and tell me if I look right for the role? I’m a good actor so I could easily make it my own in that sense. Keep in mind that they want the film to feel gritty and realistic, so they don’t want some ridiculously good-looking guy with a perfect face. Thanks.

Wow, good luck man!

I like the outfit. Because it kind of goes with the private school thing but it’s worn more casually, like you could be the bad boy.

I’d like to see the film! Do you know the title?
