Gilles asks me to comment on his video about depression being an addiction. I think that is too simplistic a term for such a complex issue. There are aspects of addiction when one is talking about long term depression in that one can enter into a major habituation of behaviours when one has been depressed for years. Also the brain does change when depression is untreated. But to simply call it an addiction is not at all accurate. Video Rating: 5 / 5
