Question by julia a: my husband of 8 yrs left me for another drug addict?
My husband has addiction issues and he is bipolar,he went last month to rehab to get evaluated and get clean,there he met supposely someoone he has fallen in love with and when he came back home he told me he is leaving me cause he is not in love with me anymore(like he loves me but not in love),and he thinks we gonna be happy but not together. Its devastating cause now since he is sober i will not know this person cause he doesn t want to be with me,he moved out 1.5 weeks later,i had to change electric and other utilities on my name..I love this man and i want him back,i tried crying,begging not to leave me that i ll forgive him,but he is telling me its not me its him and he wants to test waters and see how its like to sleep with other women(if it doesn t work out with that other woman he just wants to screw pretty much).I am heart broken and don t know how to react to this,i am in shock that my life is changing in one day pretty much,i am scared to be living by myself since i married him young and never lived by myself.Please any advise to make the pain go away,i cry all the time and feel hopeless. I don t have family here ,they re across the ocean,i am all alone….CRY

I’m so sorry.
You need to find some kind of support system. Look at your local libraries or your house of worship (if you have one) for support groups. If you can’t find one there look online. Then once you feel you are up to it join some other groups around your area to meet people. It’s going to be hard, but you will see just how strong you really are. You can do this!
