Question by Dsfa A: My girlfriend got sent to a 28 day rehab for alcohol and drugs.?
The most she’s ever done was weed, and she doesn’t regularly drink, maybe once every two weeks if most. But I made her quit every 3 weeks ago but her mom found out recently that she did drink and smoke, so she sent her to a 28 day rehab facility and they said she would be out earlier if she was good(I don’t know if that was a gimmick or not) I’m feeling alone and unloved because I can’t visit her because only her mom and dad can, and that I can’t talk to her at all. (They don’t allow any outside communication) I’m always paranoid and I don’t know what’s going to happen to us after she gets out, what if she falls in love with someone inside of rehab?(That happened to a friend of mine and it’s always a possibility) What’s going to happen to her after she gets out of the 28 day inpatient treatment? Any experiences with people that went through this? How did they change?

Most of the times they change for the better. If you drink and do weed then she might try to distance herself so she doesn’t fall into the habit again but if you don’t it should be perfectly fine. People go more than a month without seeing the people they love and nothing changes.
