Question by sweetblondegirl43: My boyfriend is a drug counselor & had to resign because I called his supervisor.?
He let the woman use his car, and then the next thing I know I go to his home and find her clothes and tolietries there. He said she & her bf has been extorting him for months. She took his keys and left but would not tell cops bcause it would get back to his boss. Well Dec.31, we were to have a date at his place-I get there and he’s not there so I waited around, low and behold if he does not come in with her, and yell at me for being there. He made such a sceen that I told him I was going to call. He said the next day that he was trying to get her into rehab. Now bcause of the extortion he borrowed 3,200 from me. I feel so bad he lost his job, but then again it all became to “big” for him to handle. I just can’t get over the “what ifs”. Should I just let him off the hook for the $ 3,200? He says he forgives me, but never wants to see me again. I know this sound crazy, but I am heart broken.

1) Why do you believe anything this guy says at this point? If you believe that story, I have a bridge to sell you.

2) If you ever get a sensible boyfriend — one that doesn’t come up with ridiculous stories about being blackmailed into having her clothes and toiletries at his place — don’t do stupid things like involve his employer in your personal problems.

Just a clue — if someone wants thousands of dollars from you, the story should be waaaaay better than that routine.
