This lodge overlooks Asheville and the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. F. Scott Fitzgerald stayed here (as did many other luminaries); meanwhile his wife Zelda spent her nights in the Highland Hospital Sanitorium, a mental health and addiction treatment facility.
