Is There Any Guaranteed Cure to Drug Addiction?

First – no, I don’t do drugs. I have a loved one who does.

I heard of something that’s being tested – such as a thing implanted in someone’s arm – it does something to the brain – and it guarantees that they won’t do drugs ever again. It sounds bogus to me (or people would use it). But thought I’d ask.
