In Recovering From Alcohol or Drug Addiction Is It Necessary to Give Credit to a Higher Power? if So Then Why?
I am currently in recovery have been for almost 7 years. I am in school to be a AOD counselor. And have heard it said many times in classes that I have taken. I din’t quit because of a higher power .I quit because I finally hit bottom and realized I would die if I didn’t change.
If you answer yes then answer this for me. If I have to give him praise for getting me out of it. What do I give him for letting me get there in the first place?
PhD AA is not a necessary element of recovery that is why I didn’t mention it.
