Question by albert: if a felony marijuana charge is reduced to a misdemeanor, does it restore a persons gun ownership rights?
i had a felony charge for marijuana cultivation reduced to a misdemeanor possession….does it restore my gun ownership rights? the judge saw fit to reduce the charge as i had successfully rehabilitated myself in 16 years, started my own business, and not had any other incidents or issues with the law.I also successfully completed rehab and paid my fines.

If the conviction shows up as a misdemeanor then I believe so, my understand is that only Felonies and some domestic violence crimes cause you to lose your gun rights
