Question by prhgoal: I got a citation for a minor in possession of alcohol in college. Is this going to affect me getting a job?
From what I hear this is a minor blemish on a record and shouldn’t have much effect as this could be considered a common screw up in college.

For most jobs, no. There may be some sensitive positions where it might be considered but it’s not likely to eliminate you from consideration. There’d be a whole lot of poor, homeless college graduates if alcohol or even minor drug offenses meant no job.
