My husband was recently sentenced to 2 years for the conspiracy to supply a class b drug “amphetamine” on the basis he was holding the drugs for somebody else.. the judge said that a year was to be served in jail and the second would be on probation. many people have told me and many prison staff have told him he will be home long before the first year and will probably only do 5-6 months and the rest on electronic tag.. he got sentencd on 7th november, anybody have any ideas??? also he was given his cat d within 2 weeks as he has no previouse and a glowing probation report for not reoffending and is now in a open jail and has only been in jail 5 weeks. thanks for any help or advice

He’ll get one day off his sentence for every three days of “good” time, you do the math.
