How Long Does It Take to Hallucinate From Sleep Deprivation Induced by Adderall?
Question by Cullen: How long does it take to hallucinate from sleep deprivation induced by Adderall?
I am prescribed for Adderall XR 25mg, and I plan on saving them up until I have enough to stay up until i’ll start getting EXTREMELY trippy, most likely from amphetamine psychosis.
I am aware that this is a dangerous experiment, but at least i’m asking how long it would take so I know how much Adderall I need to take without.. Killing myself.
Would it take longer to just stay up naturally (no caffeine, adderall, or other stims/amps), or have it induced by Amphetamines and Caffeine (I know this is a dangerous combination, very dangerous in many ways, don’t bitch at me for it though)?
And what kind of hallucinations should I expect to have? I have read that tactile hallucinations are the most common with amphetamine/cocaine induced sleep deprivation. But, I have also heard that auditory hallucinations are also common. Is my information fairly accurate?
Oh, and should I snort or pop them? And how often should I snort/pop them to get the longest, strongest effect..? I also realize that snorting is stronger, but popping them lasts longer. Should I do a combination of both?
Please don’t give me a bunch of shit on the dangers, I have a list of them right here with me. So shut the fuck up, all of you captin’ obviouses out there. <3, and thank you to anyone who gives me a straight up answer.
Okay, I know why the hell i'm on Risperidone. It's because of my manic states, where I was not able to sleep for well over 40 hours straight (yes, sober).
Anyways, I was in a state of delerium one time from tweaking for that long. I belived the shadows around me were moving and whatnot. But, that's just my mind playing tricks on me I think..
I was wondering how long it took for full-blown visual hallucinations.. I already have auditorial ones during my "manic" states. I was wondering if it would be more then just auditory if it was during one of my "tweaking" states, within about 50+ hours?
It's all purely curiousity to be honest. I get too anxious when I take Adderall for recreational purposes.. So I stopped doing it. Now please, someone with the maturity to answer this question straight forward, in an un-biased way, ANSWER IT.

I am not sure on the effects the drugs may induce, but sleep deprivation alone has caused me mild hallucinations. While on a training exercise (Army) I was required to remain awake and active for over 48 hours due to the ongoing mission. I started to have some auditory hallucinations sometime after the second day, sounded like someone was shispering in my left ear as I was driving down the road… very strange stuff.
