Is this in a home that is supervised by a police officer or probation officer?

Is the home both male and female patients?

Is the patient allowed to leave the home whenever they want?

Is it actually effective?

Can the patient have a vehicle and cell phone?

Depends on the clinic. In might be a home or more like a hospital. Drug Rehab is supervised by counselors

Is the home both male and female patients?

Depends on the clinic they may be in the same building but not in the same sleeping room.

Is the patient allowed to leave the home whenever they want?

It is very rigid. If they are there for their probation that it is up to their PO.

Is it actually effective?

It is as effective as the person wants it to be. They are generally only in for 28 days they need to be committed to change.

Can the patient have a vehicle and cell phone?

No

Can the patient have company such as the opposite sex come visit them?

There should be visiting days.

This is all for Tennessee I assume it is the same across the country.
