Question by Sizzle: How do you remove the window crank on a 2001 Volkswagen Golf?
I’m not a strong person, but I was closing the window and heard a popping sound and now the crank turns and turns but the window doesn’t move. Is this easy to fix or do I need to go to a mechanic? How do I fix it?

The regulator cable probably snapped. You need to replace the window regulator. It’s best that a mechanic do it.
