Question by calchello: How come amphetamines make me calm?
Recently I bought some speed(regular amphetamine) and it makes me calm and relaxed. A friend took it too and it works for him. I can focus better than usual but that is normal as far as i know. Some help please?
oh yes, otherwise my ability to concentrate is very bad, if this helps.
Some more info: ecstacy made me also very calm and made want to go to sleep.

You could have adhd.

“Speed” normally has a reverse effect on people with this problem- it makes them calm and able to focus… that’s why they’re prescribed amphetamines. It sounds strange, give speed to someone who’s already seemingly hyped up, but it works like this.
