Have You Ever Heard of These Drugs?

Question by opio-coca: have you ever heard of these drugs?
i know that the typical drugs on the streeets are usualy weel known ones like heroin, ecstasy, cocaine, weed, etc.

but if you llok into drug forums or even erowid there is ALOT of people experimenting and using a class of drugs that are call tryptamines or phenethylamines. also known as “reasearch chemicals”

a few examples would be 2cb, 2ci, 2ct2, amt, 5-meo-dmt etc.

have you encountered or heard of these drugs before?
smellyfoot: i mean research chemicals. i am not talking about common tryptamines like the ones you listed. im talking about the drugs that realy dont have these names

like the ones i just listed. of what i know there isnt slang names for any of them. 4ho-mipt or 5-meo-amt.

These drugs have more common “street names.” Why is this in Law Enforcement?

When people talk about “tryptamines” they are trying to sound intelligent….but they are just talking about mushrooms or a similar hallucinogen.

Phenethylamines is MDMA or Mescalin….similar to Ecstasy.
