The Idaho Meth Project announced the winners in the statewide “Paint the State” contest this afternoon at the Idaho State Capitol. Teens painted their messages about the risks of methamphetamine use.

Burglary cases double in two years, theft up
Burglary in The Dalles nearly doubled during the last two years. According to police records, there were 80 burglaries in 2008 compared with 155 in 2009.
