This is a great question, I hope I can help.
Cocaine and ecstasy are both classified as “Uppers” because they fuel your body with energy. Once you snort a line of cocaine, you begin feeling a numbing sensation starting with your mouth and then down to your throat. About five minutes after, a burst of energy is splashed through your body and you become extremely social. The high usually lasts an hour, but most users begin sniffing another line within 15 – 45 minutes intervals. The crash on cocaine results in feeling extremely tired because your body was functioning so fast while on cocaine that body organs are now weak and tired. Cocaine withdrawal is mental (as well as Ecstasy), NOT physical, unlike heroin, meaning you wont get sick. However, Cocaine leaves a bigger impact on your brain versus ecstasy, meaning that for some reason the craving for cocaine is higher than the craving for ecstasy
Ecstasy relates closely to this because you also become energized on the drug. However, ecstacy kicks in usually an hour after a user swallows the pill. A warming sensation begins to flood your body and you become very awake. Everything (including music) now begins to effect your mood positively because the drug is triggering your body to release dope amine by the tenfold. Dope amine is the natural chemical in your body that triggers when you are happy…because ecstacy is an upper, it makes your body function faster, which then speeds up the dope amine production in your body. So in lamest terms, ecstacy is fooling your body into thinking this is the happiest day in the world and nothing can change that, so almost everything you do will effect your mood positively. The drug lasts for about 6 hours.Like coke, after using ecstasy your body is extremely tired and you will want to rest. On ecstasy users call this “the day after effect”. This is because when users take ecstasy they are up all night and don’t sleep until the next day. During the next day is when you feel the “crash” effects. No matter how much sleep you got, you wake up feeling weak and lazy and this lasts for the entire day. Ecstasy is not addicting, meaning your body won’t crave for it when the drug is no longer in your body- it’s all mental like cocaine. However, the mental craving for ecstasy seems to not be as bad compared to the mental craving of cocaine
Heroin is a downer, which depresses your body and it’s functions, especially the respiratory system. This is how people overdose- They take too much of the drug (and you really have to take A LOT to overdose) and the body’s functions become so slowed down that it forgets to breathe. Heroin also increases the dope amine production in your body. Unlike coke and ecstasy, users usually inject heroin, but it can be sniffed. The heroine high is felt within seconds if injecting, and within 5 to 10 minutes when snorting. Because heroin is a downer, when you are high on heroin your body functions slow down and users begin to “nod off” (meaning the nod in and out of consciousness). The high lasts for about two hours, but heroin stays into your system for 8 hours, although after two hours the effects are so weak users usually dose again, The “crash” on heroin is what people call withdrawal or dope sick. For frequent users, after 8 hours of not using dope you become extremely sick and begin having intense depression and cravings for the drug. This is why heroin is so addicting because once you are sick, you will remain sick for a week…the only way to get out of this is taking more heroin.
When on ecstasy, your pupils are large. When on coke and heroin, your pupils are very small, almost pinpoint. I can’t speak on meth because I’ve never tried it. As far as choosing the best one, I would without a doubt choose heroin.
