Do Scientists Need Their Own License to Have a Lab?

Question by Troy Rules: Do scientists need their own license to have a lab?
Long story short my science teacher saw me running from the cops and framed me up a deal. He said he won’t tell anyone about my run in with the law if I come and work on this product he calls ‘crystal” in his lab at his house. I’ve never heard of a “crystal” before, he says its this new chemical they are producing to combat diseases such as cough, hepatitis, and stuff. I just wondered does he need some type of license to have one, he graduated from some college but I need to make sure. I guess I do not have a choice or he could just turn me in.

You don’t need a license just to have a lab. There are certain chemicals that are considered hazardous, and you need to be trained and certified in proper safety techniques in order to have them.
