Distinguished Panelists at Lawyers and Judges Event Discuss Relapse and Recovery

Distinguished Panelists discuss the issue of RELAPSE from addiction recovery at the Lawyers and Judges Assistance Program event run jointly by Brighton Hospital and the State Bar of Michigan on April 16, 2009. They are introduced by Brighton Hospital President, Denise Bertin-Epp. Panelists are seated, right to left: Interventionist, Author and Brighton Hospital Trustee Debra Jay Interventionist and Author Jeff Jay Dr. Charles Gehrke, Brighton Hospital Physician who is active with the Lawyers and Judges Assistance Program at Brighton Hospital and with the Health Professionals Recovery Program. Martha Burkett, Program Administrator, Lawyers and Judges Assistance Program, State Bar of Michigan Cynthia Bullington, Esq., Attorney Grievance Commission, Michigan Dr. Gehrke compares outcomes and recovery from relapse in addiction with other chronic diseases, such as diabetes.
