my mom developed an addiction to pain killers, because she was in so much pain, she is now in detox. I just found out she was addicted, i had no idea. I am so shocked, and i have no idea what to do. I feel like i am in a dream. Can you help me deal with it, and give me some advice and answer some questions? How did you deal with your parents addiction? If they ever went to detox, and came back, what was it like? Thanks for your help, have a good day.

my father actually died from and overdose so i understand what you’re going through…sort of. by best advice is re-enter her into rehab first of all and also talk to someone yourself be it and adjustment counsellor anyone. remember most of all your mom might get mad but you are doing what’s best for the both of you.
