Colonoscopy and Amphetamines?

Question by hushlam: Colonoscopy and Amphetamines?
I am scheduled for an upcoming colonoscopy. I was told by my physician to not use and amphetamines, gingko biloba, metabolife, herbalife, diet pills etc… Basically no stimulants. Can someone please explain to me why this is and what are the dangers if i do have something in my system. Thanks.

because they are stimulants and it could affect it.
