Aspiring filmmaker aims to shine light on Pleasanton
One aspiring filmmaker hopes a little audio and debauchery will put his hometown back in the Hollywood spotlight. Adam Gold, 27, aims to return Pleasanton to its filmmaking heyday of the early to mid-20th century, when 35 mostly silent movies were filmed in the then-small farming town between 1910 and 1943.
