Question by Terry: Can you give me some good lesson plan ideas for the Young Adult book “Crank”?
I’m a new teacher. We’re reading “Crank” in one of the classes I teach. Just wondering if anybody has any good suggestions for lessons I could teach connected to the themes and content of this book.

Well, Ive read Crank, and one major theme is drugs. This is the novel by Ellen Hopkins, right? And there are 2 more books after this BTW… 🙂 but it deals alot with drugs, sex, and falling for things to easily. Basically it teaches you that you need to be YOU, and dont try to impress other people who are low to begin with.
