I heard my friend talking about this and it just piqued my curiosity. Can someone please enlighten me?

An alcohol intervention happens to be a process that is aimed at helping the alcoholic realize what he’s doing and help him recover from his addiction. This is done so that the patient will learn to accept treatment. This can be done by a few close family members or friends, but experts, such as intervention specialists, might be more effective as they are more adept at dealing with cases like these.
