Can Missing Somebody Be Classified as an Addiction to That Person?
Question by zorroloco: Can missing somebody be classified as an addiction to that person?
An addiction is a physical dependency and you can get side effects such as chills, nervous habits and depression. You hear about mom’s feeling empty-nest syndrome where they constantly clean their kid’s rooms or cook when they have already left for college. If you miss a person that you are so accustomed to their company, will it cause the same chemical reactions in you as lets say your dependency on a drug? Just curious. Thx.

i don’t think missing someone can lead to an addiction. unless you’re obsessed with them and resort to stalking them or something…
