I was just wondering about this since my mom wants to be able to take part in my dad’s treatment. Are there such treatment programs that will allow her to do this?

Yes, there are. I think some rehabs even encourage this. Studies have shown that patients respond positively to treatment when a non-alcoholic close friend or family member is there to undergo counseling and therapy with them even for just a couple of times. This will not only have a positive effect on the patient, it will also foster a stronger and deeper relationship between them.
