Coogee Beach. My second home.

A sad day for those belonging to Coogee Beach Volleyball Club. No net was allowed up because of new restrictions imposed by Randwick Council.

Just ‘too crowded’ and a danger to the public at this time of day, apparently. Just another case of common sense gone out the window.

We’re at a loss to determine how it is detrimental to the beach and the local community. It’s promoting activity and exercise, people going past like to watch, tourists join in, and it’s not like we’re Ice addicts or disturbing the peace.

Thankfully we have a passionate latino leading the charge
