Addicted to Video Games. Help Please?

Question by I’m Not Here: Addicted to video games. Help please?
Currently I am addicted to Modern Warfare 2 (as in I play it all night long and don’t sleep. Every night.). I need to break this addiction.
This isn’t to say that I haven’t been addicted to games before; I played WoW for 14 hours a day for a month…but I just get burned out on MMOs, and I don’t on MW2.

I play single-player games the same way, like doing every single mission and beating Fallout 3 in just 3 or 4 days. I get burned out on single-player games to, though.

I read through some of the other “Video Game Addiction” questions on Yahoo Answers, but none of them really fit my situation.
Common ones I saw were things like “Get Counseling”, “Get a Girlfriend”, “Go Out With Friends” and “Just Unplug The System”.
1) I can’t afford any type of Therapy or Counseling. 2) Terrible fear of rejection. 3) I have 1 friend, and she’s going to be busy for the next few months. 4) If it was that easy I would’ve done it.
I’m 14, homeschooled.
(I’m sorry for the little list thing, but I just wanted to get what I can’t do out of the way. And belive me, I would much rather be out with friends than be playing a game.)

What’s bad, though, is that I just plain hate that game. Every time some camper kills me I scream into the mic and shut the system off…then turn it back on 5 minutes later for another 3 hours.

If anyone has a solution to this, please tell me. I’m getting a bit desperate here.
Thank you.
