I'm a basketball player and I used to have knee pains tendinitis . I always used to ice my knees and the pains have gone away now but I still ice my knees regularly, due to habit and it makes my knees feel good. I also see NBA players icing their knees sometimes. So what exactly does the ice pack do? Because players without knee pains still ice their knees and other parts of their bodies.
